Li Fubao — Mechanical R&D Engineer

He graduated from North University of China in 1996, majoring in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology and Equipment, with a college diploma.

Joining Himile in 2003, he has successively worked as a layout fitter, mold process engineer and mold design engineer.

In 2017, already in his middle age, he volunteered to transfer to the Centrifugal Compressor Department to engage in aerodynamic design. Starting from scratch, he embarked on learning engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and aerodynamic calculation. He is a model practitioner of the company’s philosophy: LEARN WHAT YOU NEED IN JOB; IMPROVE WHAT YOU ARE LACK OF; INTERNALIZE WHAT IS REQUIRED IN JOB.

Up to now, the compressors with aerodynamic design led by him have achieved sales revenue of nearly 1 billion yuan, with their performance reaching the internationally advanced level. He has made remarkable contributions to the energy conservation and consumption reduction of national energy equipment.

Overview

In 2006, Himile entered the compressor manufacturing industry, providing core components and supporting services for global high-end compressor brands. Having developed thousands of types of parts and components, Himile has become a close supplier and strategic partner for these brands.

In 2010, leveraging its full industrial chain manufacturing advantages and comprehensive competitiveness, Himile attracted an international high-end centrifugal compressor brand to locate its complete machine production line at Himile.

In 2017, Himile began to set up its R&D team for centrifugal compressors. After nearly a decade of technological accumulation, Himile’s centrifugal compressors now boast outstanding competitive advantages such as energy efficiency, high efficiency and high reliability, with fully independent intellectual property rights.

Meanwhile, backed by the coordinated advantages of the group’s complete industrial chain, Himile has built an integrated capability covering independent casting, welding, precision machining, final assembly & testing, and skid integration for centrifugal compressors. Himile can also provide full-life-cycle services including complete machine development, skid integration, spare parts supply and after-sales support. Its products are exported to more than ten countries and regions across Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, South America and beyond.

On April 28th, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions held a ceremony to celebrate International Workers' Day and present the National May 1st Labor Awards. Li Fubao, mechanical R&D engineer of Himile, was awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal.

It is learned that a total of 3,024 National May 1st Labor Awards were conferred this year, including 379 National May 1st Labor Certificates, 1,462 National May 1st Labor Medals, and 1,183 National Model Worker Groups.

The National May 1st Labor Awards were established in 1985. As the highest honor granted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, it recognizes outstanding workers, enterprises, public institutions and organizations. Among them, the National May 1st Labor Medal is awarded to outstanding individuals; the National May 1st Labor Certificate is awarded to collectives and organizations; the National Model Worker Group is awarded to departments, workshops, teams and offices of enterprises and institutions.

Since founding in 1995, Himile has won four national honors from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions:

2009: Wang Qinfeng, employee of Himile, won the National May 1st Labor Medal.

2016: Himile Group was awarded the National May 1st Labor Certificate.

2024: Himile CNC Machine Tool R&D Team won the title of National Model Worker Group.

2026: Li Fubao, employee of Himile, won the National May 1st Labor Medal.
