On January 8th, Himile held the Product Launch Conference for the 35,000-grade Air Separation Project, launching the HM15000 and HM15000P series of next-generation high-efficiency main air compressors(MAC). Witnessed by more than 100 peers and customers from the air separation and gas industry, the large-scale multi-shaft centrifugal compressor with a capacity of 180,000 Nm³/h, custom-built by Himile for a well-known metallurgical enterprise, successfully completed factory testing and delivery. All parameters and performance indicators of the equipment have delivered an outstanding performance, all exceeding the customer's expectations. This milestone achievement marks a new leap forward for China's domestically-manufactured air separation equipment!

Core Highlights

This piece of equipment is a 35,000-grade air separation main air compressor, which undertakes the critical task of supplying a continuous and stable gas source for the production system and can cater to the gas demands of large-scale iron and steel, chemical and other industries.

Note: The "35,000-grade air separation" refers to an air separation unit with an oxygen production capacity of approximately 35,000 standard cubic meters per hour; "180,000 Nm³/h" indicates the capacity to process 180,000 standard cubic meters of air per hour.

The R&D team has overcome the technical challenges of balancing high efficiency and stability for large-scale equipment, which marks a major breakthrough in China's large-scale, high-end multi-shaft geared air separation compressor sector, with the country's relevant technological capabilities having ranked among the world's advanced level. In terms of energy efficiency, through self-developed technologies including long-short blade impellers and high-margin diffusers, the overall energy efficiency of the unit has reached world-class standards. In terms of stability, the key operating indicators outperform the standard values specified by API (American Petroleum Institute), ensuring the long-cycle stable operation of the unit.

This delivery marks a solid step forward for Himile on the path to the localization of high-end equipment, providing a new option for the air separation industry to break the industry bottleneck. Going forward, Himile will continue to optimize the operational stability and energy efficiency of its products, and provide customers with optimal solutions.
